The mission of FEDC is to provide leadership and vision to advance economic development in Florida and enhance the professionalism of its diverse membership.
Since 1964, the Florida Economic Development Council Inc. (FEDC) has promoted economic development throughout the state of Florida. Today, it is a primary resource for policy development, legislative updates, education, networking and professional advancement. Over 500 professionals statewide count on FEDC to provide leadership, communications, peer recognition and networking.

Promoting Economic Development
Having an active presence in the state capitol provides FEDC with resources including a contract Tallahassee based lobbyist. Our professional team work year round to develop and promote sound economic development policy in the legislature. FEDC also works to develop, promote and execute continuing professional development and best practices for our economic development professionals.
Providing Quality Education
FEDC provides continuing education activities throughout the year including the Florida Economic Development conference. Attendees remain aware and stay ahead of changes in state economic development programs and best practices.
Creating Peer-to-Peer Networking
