mobile business alert system is active
sign up today to receive mobile alerts on your cell phone
Naples, Florida (August 18, 2008) -The Economic Development Council of Collier County (EDC) is urging businesses in Collier County to sign up for its Mobile Business Alert System.
This system allows you to receive text messages on your mobile phone related to business preparation and recovery if a hurricane or other disaster should affect Collier County and Southwest Florida. Register now to receive local emergency alerts wherever you are. By subscribing to this system, Collier County business owners and residents will be able to easily receive text message notifications through their mobile phones.
Follow these simple instructions from your mobile phone:
1. Send a text message from your cell phone to 247365. In the text body type: CCEDCSTORM
If the need should arise you will also be able to receive important information regarding the activation of the EDC's Business Assistance Center. Sign up today and keep informed on current conditions before, during and after a storm.
